Catrin’s work considers the industrial landscape and explores the unseen, the everyday and the mundane.
Catrin re-appropriates imagery to create new objects. The works are drawn from pre-existing imagery, including photographs, video stills and images from contemporary and historical events.
Through the process of filtering the original concept, Catrin removes the narrative, furthering the image from the original context, allowing for new interpretations to emerge.
